DIY Kitchen Wipes

This idea is so simple and can save so much money by using things you probably already have in your home.

Do It On A Dime shows how to make your own homemade cleaning wipes easily. Just slice quality paper towels in half. Then at 12 ounces of water, ¼ cup rubbing alcohol and 4 squirts of dish soap.

What a great idea to save money and use environmentally safe items to do it with.

This is a good idea, but you should always wipe off any cleaner from your counter tops with water and a paper towel so that food that is placed on the counter will not be exposed to dried cleaner and consumed into the body.

Also, vinegar will kill some bacteria, but not as much as you would think, like the flu. You are better off washing a cutting board in the sink with hot soapy water, then dry, and adding the mineral oil. I’m not a microbiology scientist, so this is just my 2 cents. 🙂
