So I’m all about getting my hands dirty with a DIY project but then I see what this couple did and WOW! Suddenly my macaroni art project doesn’t seem nearly as cool. But if I built THIS, I’d be showing it to everyone.
Jeremy and Mira Thompson spent a few years putting together their ideal micro-home: built from a school bus.
The couple began to frequent garage sales and flea markets in order to find many of the materials that went into the home.
The bus itself is 37-feet long.
The siding is made from cedar.
The stove and the fridge run on propane.
What a beautiful kitchen.
It looks like a tiny cottage or cabin!
They were careful to use the space efficiently.
Drawers around the bed nook accomplish that nicely.
They even built a lounge area complete with chairs and guitar.
The house feels so rustic.
Everything was built to be sturdy or be stored easily for when the bus is moving. That’s right – it still runs.

I’m sure you’ll agree, this is just so awesome inside! I’d have no problem living and traveling in this bus. Great job Jeremy and Mira.
Now does anyone want to see my pasta art? LOL ~ Kera
