Nail Polish Mug

Audra Kurtz has been sharing her DIY ideas for over three years. In this video she shows everyone how to make an ingenious gift idea using a few common household items. These mugs can be used to hold flowers, school supplies, candy and many other items. If you decide to use them as a standard coffee mug, just remember to hand wash them. They turn out so beautiful!

Materials needed:

  • ceramic coffee mug
  • nail polish
  • toothpick
  • deep plastic tub
  • warm water
  • paper towels

Question:
What if the polish just stays as a blob in the water it does not spread like it does in the video?

Answer:
It could be your polish is old or that you’re pouring the polish too high. It might also be your water quality where you live. Try room temp bottled water.
