Philly Steak Pepper Boats

These stuffed peppers are great for lunch, dinner or even as an appetizer. I hope you enjoy them as much as my family and I have.

Ingredients for Philly Steak Pepper Boats

  • 4 Bell Peppers.. I use Green
  • 10 oz. Thinly Sliced Roast Beef
  • 8 slices of Provolone Cheese
  • 1 large Sweet onion sliced
  • 4 Tbs. Butter
  • 4 Tbs. Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbs Minced Garlic
  • Sea Salt and Pepper To taste

Directions for Philly Steak Pepper Boats

  1. Slice Peppers in half long ways…clean seeds out and cut stem part off
  2. In a large pan over med heat…add butter, olive oil, garlic and onions…salt and pepper…sauté them till they are caramelized…
  3. Pre heat your oven to 400 degrees
  4. Slice your roast beef into thin strips and add it to the onion mix…cook for 10 min. or so
  5. Take 1/2 slice of provolone cheese and lay it to fit in your pepper…fill each pepper with meat/onion mix…
  6. Bake for 15 Min. Take out of the oven then lay the other half of the cheese across the top of each pepper bake another 5 to 8 min. or until cheese is golden brown on top!
