The surveillance footage in this video shows a young boy playing on his bike in the driveway. He is taken by surprise when a nasty neighbor dog sneaks up on him and bites his leg. Before things can go from bad to worse, the family’s cat Tara rushes in to save the day, fighting off the mean pooch and chasing it away.
We understand the Mom ensured the dog was chased off and got it secured in its yard, and was bitten herself in the process.
The boy’s mother has reported that her son needed a few stitches but is doing fine.
Guess this proves that a cat can also be a great best friend. Nicely done Tara!
