Every time I do laundry, there’s always this one item that I leave bunched up in a ball because I think it’s impossible to fold. And while it’s not the end of the world, it bothers me that it just sits there all crumpled up. So indulge me here, but I was very excited when I came across this video that shows clearly how to fold a fitted sheet. And after I tried it, it actually worked! Hope For Paws’ Eldad Hagar had heard about a female dog and her puppies, who were homeless and living without food and clean water on the side of the road in a remote area of California.
Hagar decided to head out to the location and drop off some food and water for the dogs, and check up on their health.
The following day during his visit to see the dogs, a local man told him that Gaia (as she was affectionately named) had been hit by a car and died shortly up the road, leaving three beautiful and healthy puppies to fend for themselves.
The three puppies were alone, scared and probably wouldn’t survive without their mother. As you will see in the video, the pups were reluctant to come out of the drain they were hiding in.
This is one truly amazing animal rescue.

Because of the acidic nature of Coke it can be used for many purposes that sound outrageous. For example, Coke can be used to take tarnish off of coins and other metals, and some people even use it to degrease car engines. But what happens when we mix Coke with something that acts opposite to it’s acidic properties, such as Milk?
You’re not going to believe the reaction and perhaps even think twice about what you put in your body, yuck!

During heavy thunderstorms in south China this weekend, a one-year-old baby apparently went looking for his mother by a window. Two men on the street below noticed the child’s precarious position and anticipated his fall.
Two local men, referred to only as Mr. Li and Mr. Hu, were close by and rushed to the child’s assistance.
“I didn’t think too much at the time. I was just afraid of failing to catch him. Some people put down cardboard to avoid serious injuries to the baby if I failed to catch him,” Li said in an interview with Reuters.
“It was nothing but human instinct to do so,” Hu added.
That was one lucky baby and one awesome catch.

A dolphin becomes entangled with fishing line and is rescued by divers in Kona Hawai. After watching this video, I am almost without words.
One commenter says: Dolphins, I think, are pretty cool. It’s like they got together as a species and said “alright, aside from us, humans are about the smartest animals we know of, so if you see one in trouble, be cool and help them out.” Likewise, we’ve kind of collectively agreed that Dolphins are smart and helpful, and if we see one in need, we lend it a hand. That awesome, unspoken, inter-species agreement is beautifully illustrated in this video. After the intro, the good bit start around the 4 minute mark.

There are so many occupations and services in this world that people take for granted. Delivery people are just one of them. Remembering to tip the people who deliver your food is important, it directly affects how much they make. So when delivery people get slighted, it’s a big deal.
The other night, a Reddit user delivered a pizza. The total was $22.67 and the couple receiving it gave him $23.00 and told him to keep the change. Less than a dollar on nearly a $25.00 bill is an abysmal tip. But then something awesome happened.
They dropped this card off the next day.
And although there wasn’t a cupcake inside, there was an equally awesome note.
You know the couple who brought this note in the next day wouldn’t have been able to sleep at night, knowing that they didn’t leave a tip. What a wonderful reminder that there are great people out there in the world.
