Fast & Furious 7 Is The Most Emotional Farewell To Paul Walker

0

(Warning: Spoilers ahead for Furious 7, so proceed with care! But they won’t ruin your enjoyment of the film.)

I’m so exited to share my thoughts on Fast & Furious 7 – yep, it doesn’t matter if you call these films cheesy or boring – all I have to say is they are some of my favorite films to watch.

First off, the action in the film is very tight. The fight scenes and stunts are the best they’ve ever created. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a whole movie theater whoop and cheer during the action and FF7 delivered over and over again.

However, what made the movie really special was the love the Fast Family showed to its fallen hero, Paul Walker.

As a big fan, I was worried that the movie would suffer from ‘replacement edits’ – scenes using doubles (Paul Walker’s brothers, in this case) to fix parts of the film that he’d been unable to complete – but this whole, big, awesome movie was a smooth ride from start to finish.

In fact, it all worked so well, it’s like they had some eerie premonition that Paul would leave us. Paul’s character, Brian, is happy with his family, wife Mia (Jordana Brewster), little son Jack and a daughter on the way.

How does the movie wrap up?

Here’s my description of the last part for you: Paul and Vin pull up alongside each other as if they’re going to drag race. I love this reference to the old school Fast & Furious – bringing back the iconic Dom vs. Brian drag race.

This is intercut with flashes of Brian and Dom’s friendship, their best bro-ments and times with the Fast Family all together.

Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) says in the movie, “I don’t have friends, I’ve got family” and Fast & Furious 7 stays true to this heartfelt statement throughout.

The road forks, and the pair go their separate ways. Paul Walker – driving a symbolically white car – speeds his way to a better place.

The screen cuts to black, reading only, “For Paul.”

RIP, Paul: Ride in Paradise.

Easy Cheesy Pull-Apart Crack Bread Recipe. My Mouth Is Watering

Easy Cheesy Pull-Apart Crack Bread Recipe

If you’re like me then bread is a major part of your diet. I basically need bread with every meal I eat. It’s especially important when it comes to dinner (and sharing with others). This cheesy bread is perfect as an appetizer before dinner, as shared bread to accompany your entrees, or just for snacking. My favorite thing about this is how easy it is to make. You can also add garlic if you want (see the video below).

Ingredients for Easy Cheesy Pull-Apart Crack Bread

  • 1 round bread loaf
  • 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter
  • 2 roasted hatch chiles, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 cup shredded medium cheddar
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese

Directions for Easy Cheesy Pull-Apart Crack Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Slice the bread vertically and horizontally being careful to not cut all the way through the bread, stop about 1/4 inch from the bottom of the loaf. Place on a sheet of aluminum foil.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add in chiles and onion. Cook just until onions start to soften, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.
  4. Drizzle the hatch chile butter into each cut of the bread. Gently part the bread to allow the butter mixture to work its way into the tiny spaces. Gently push chiles into the cuts with your finger or a spoon.
  5. Combine cheddar, mozzarella and pepper jack cheese together in a bowl. Gently stuff the cheese into each cut of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread in the aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

That’s all there is to it! You can add garlic by simply putting it in with the chiles and onions. For video instructions that include the garlic version take a look at the following video:

This Puppy Is Convinced That He’s A Human Baby. You Have To See This To Believe It!

Ramsey’s owners say he’s a husky, but I have my suspicions. When he opens his tiny little mouth, he’s a little less like a puppy and a little more like a human baby. And like a lot of babies, he has a LOT to say.

In the video, you get to see a husky doing the most hilarious thing ever. When the woman in the video picks up the husky puppy, the puppy starts making very strange noises.

Watch the adorable video below!

I hear you, buddy. Huskys are known to be vocal, but little Ramsey thinks he’s people!

Drivers Were Shocked At What This Guy Did In Traffic. I Couldn’t Believe It.

Sitting in traffic is one of the most annoying things to have to go through. But this guy decides to take matters into his own hands and do things a little differently. He definitely gets people’s attention.

That. Was. Awesome!!! Maybe I’ll start doing Sing-A-Longs while I’m in traffic. It would definitely make it more enjoyable.

She Fills A Cake With Peeps. I Couldn’t Stop Smiling At The Result.

Peep lovers will enjoy this recipe for a yummy surprise!

Sure, this isn’t intended to be healthy but that’s not the point. It’s an Easter TREAT! It’s super cute and it’s like a piñata that you cut instead of beat! I freaking love it!!! Lol

Ingredients for Giant Peeps Cake:

  • 2 batches of desired cake batter
  • yellow marshmallow buttercream (the recipe: http://youtu.be/DdaLaZOIP-4)
  • yellow sanding sugar
  • 2 brown Smarties (or other round brown candies)
  • Peeps
  • toothpicks

Directions for Giant Peeps Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a 9″x13″ cake pan, bake one of the batches of cake batter for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool. In a 3 qt glass bowl, bake the other cake batter batch for 70-80 minutes. I found that placing a heating cored into the middle of the batter in the bowl helped with baking the batter more thoroughly. Allow to cool completely.
  2. Place rectangle cake onto a cake board or plate. Place the round cake on top of the rectangle cake at one end of the rectangle cake. Line a serated knife up to the edge of the round cake, and proceed to cut of the corner of the rectangle cake. Repeat this for the other 3 corners. Set these pieces aside as you will need them later.
  3. Hollowing out the cakes- With the round cake still on top of the rectangle cake, place toothpicks to mark the location of the round cake. Remove round cake and set aside. Using a sharp knife placed about an inch inside of the location lines of the round cake, start cutting and removing cake, until you have a deep enough hollow for the peeps to fit. To hollow out the round cake, turn it so the widest part is facing upwards. Level the cake so the top is flat, and then using a sharp knife placed about an inch inside of the edge of the cake, start cutting and removing cake chunks. You want to remove enough that there is a decent sized hollow, but not too much that your cake becomes fragile and breaks when you go to move it.
  4. Fill the hollowed out portions with peeps!
  5. Place a thin layer of buttercream around the outside of hole (now holding the Peeps) of the rectangle cake.
  6. To place the round cake back on top of the rectangle cake without the Peeps falling out, I found it was best to cover the top with a cake lifter and then flip the round cake upside down, place on top of the rectangle where it should be and gently remove the cake lifter.
  7. Taking one of the triangular pieces that were cut off earlier, line it up for the beak of the Peep and secure into place with toothpicks. Using 2 triangular pieces, line them up for the tail of the Peep and secure with toothpicks.
  8. Cover entire cake in a thin crumb coat with the yellow marshmallow buttercream. Set into the freezer for 20 minutes to set the coat.
  9. Remove from freezer and apply a final layer of buttercream.
  10. Cover the cake in yellow sanding sugar.
  11. Attach the brown smarties (eyes) with a little dab of buttercream.

This Teacher Forces Student To Answer Phone In Class On Speaker. Then Instantly Regrets It.

That is absolutely hysterical! A teacher has a classroom policy that if your phone rings in class, you have to answer it on speaker.

Of course this embarrassing measure is meant to discourage students from leaving their phones on during class But this time, it backfires. As an April Fools’ Day prank, the class does THIS, and it’s such a laugh!
