This artist decided she wanted to see how LSD affected her self-portraits. So, she took some and drew self-portraits through the night, while she was tripping. This is how her journey played out…
1. 15 minutes in
Relatively normal. Funky t-shirt design.
2. After 45 minutes
Steadily turning purple, but still normal-ish.
3. 1 hour and 45 minutes post-LSD
Progressively more purple, and has grown freckles.
4. 2 hours and 15 minutes later
Chaos is setting in. She’s seriously purple now, and she seems to like it.
5. 3 and a half hours after LSD
At this point she loses her eyes and they never return.
6. 4 hours and 45 minutes in
“Here, I am violet.”
7. 6 hours later
And after 6 hours, it starts to get really creative.
8. 6 hours and 45 minutes in
Close to the seven hour mark, she reached peak artistry.
9. 8 hours after
Regained eyes. Skin is increasingly multi-colored.
10. 8 hours and 45 minutes in
Note to self: 9 hours after taking LSD, you may think you’re a fiery witch-demon. You’re probably not.
11. 9 hours and 30 minutes after LSD
Everything starts to wear off around 9 and a half hours, but some purple still remains.
